Responsibilities Patton Boggs is seeking a first to fourth year lateral patent associate/agent to join the Intellectual Property practice group. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications with the USPTO in the electrical engineering and computer science disciplines, to include business method patents. Experience writing opinions, performing due diligence, and preparing transactional documents is also required. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science. An advanced degree is preferred. Excellent writing skills are critical. USPTO registration must also be active.
