Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position as AP Analyst is to receive, code, and enter accounts payable, check requests and wires. Adhering to the 45 days net policy. This position assists the AP Manager with vendor maintenance and year-end 1099 processing as well as assisting with office disbursement entry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Receiving, coding, and entering invoices, check requests and wires, ensuring that appropriate client codes are used and approvals obtained; print checks and check registers.
  • Adhere to payment policy of 45 days net.
  • Assist AP Manager in maintaining vendor files, W-9 issuance, and 1099 reporting.
  • Gather and research any old unpaid invoices and forward to appropriate approver before payment.
  • Audit and review voucher registers from other A/P processors ensuring that they are keyed in properly and correct descriptions are used.
  • Obtain copies for lookups.
  • Filing.
  • Disburse daily or weekly check runs.
