Amer Pharaon concentrates his practice in complex mass tort, product liability, consumer fraud, employment, insurance coverage and commercial litigation.  Mr. Pharaon has defended various litigation matters on behalf of a multi-national agricultural biotechnology corporation, one of the largest municipal entities in the world, a prominent pharmacy benefit manager, leading nutritional supplement manufacturers and marketers, top domestic and international construction companies and other notable clients. He also counsels clients on advertising and promotion-related matters and has represented clients before the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Pharaon has significant background with common interest privilege issues and joint defense agreements. His diverse experience spans the entire litigation process, from the investigatory and pleading stages through discovery and trial.

Mr. Pharaon is a member of the firm’s pro bono committee. His pro bono practice is concentrated in the area of special education law, where he represents parents of children with special education needs to ensure their children receive appropriate educational and related services in their school settings.

Mr. Pharaon graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Pharaon worked in the law school’s clinical program and the Legal Aid Society representing clients with limited financial resources in prisoners’ civil rights, housing and criminal matters. Mr. Pharaon has co-authored scholarly work presented at the Science of Morality conference at the Royal College of Physicians in London, U.K.

Prior to joining Patton Boggs, Mr. Pharaon was an associate in one of Am Law’s five largest U.S. law firms.
