Heide Bajnrauh is Public Policy Advisor at Patton Boggs. Her experience is in consulting with clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device fields on reimbursement processes and health policy regulations.
Ms. Bajnrauh comes to Patton Boggs with extensive knowledge of health care policies and reimbursement due to her work as Director of Reimbursement Services for Aequitas, a health economics firm in San Diego, California. At Aequitas, Ms. Bajnrauh specialized in reimbursement strategy and developed coding applications as well as draft coverage language for innovative technologies in the medical field. Ms. Bajnrauh also worked with internal research analysts developing health technology assessments and health economic analyses for pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology clients.
Ms. Bajnrauh began her health care career working on Capitol Hill for United States Senator John McCain on legislative issues such as Medicare reform, HIPAA regulations, and NIH funding. Ms. Bajnrauh left Capitol Hill for the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC), where she worked closely with Capitol Hill staff, educating them on communication and marketing techniques to increase their constituents’ knowledge of the health care system.
