Barbara Troyan joined Patton Boggs in 2008 and assists attorneys in the Litigation Department. Ms. Troyan manages and coordinates non-party document collection in addition to updating case status databases.
Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Troyan worked for five years as a litigation paralegal in an employment and labor law firm located in New York City. She provided direct support, including the preparation of cases from inception through trial, to attorneys representing clients before federal and state courts (NY & NJ) in wage and hour matters. Her experience includes drafting legal documents (pleadings, motions, affidavits, mediation/settlement statements); managing case files; coordinating document production; conducting document inspections; drafting discovery requests and responses; conducting legal research; cite checking and filing. She also has extensive knowledge of civil procedure rules (federal and state), federal (Pacer) and state filing systems and litigation support databases.
