Crystal C. Martinez assists in all aspects of litigation, including trials, motions and pre-trial hearings. She is an expert cite-checker and proofreader. Ms. Martinez maintains litigation dockets for important deadlines. She is proficient in arranging traditional and electronic court filings. In addition, she can utilize several document management databases and can assist with discovery, deposition preparations and legal research.
Ms. Martinez also assists attorneys in providing legal and tax advisory services to foreign institutions participating in investment funds, particularly those involved in real estate and corporate securities investments in the United States and other countries.
In her corporate work, Ms. Martinez focuses on business formations, dissolutions, maintaining corporate records, drafting resolutions and filing annual reports for the foreign investors in compliance with Delaware and Cayman Islands laws. She also assists foreign investors with Department of Commerce and tax filings.
Ms. Martinez has a paralegal certificate approved by the American Bar Association.
Before joining Patton Boggs in 2007, Ms. Martinez had four years of experience in the paralegal field.
