Cordell Hull concentrates his practice on white-collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation and internal investigations.

Mr. Hull’s white-collar practice consists of representing individual and corporate clients in grand jury investigations and litigation brought by state and federal agencies. His representations include numerous witnesses, subjects and targets of investigations into alleged political corruption, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), government procurement fraud and criminal violations of antitrust laws. In addition, Mr. Hull has experience navigating clients through investigations by committees of the U.S. Congress.

Mr. Hull’s civil litigation experience includes serving as lead counsel in several cases tried to a verdict. His civil litigation practice consists of cases filed around the country, including several actions consolidated by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. In addition to his trial litigation experience, Mr. Hull has an active appellate practice. He has briefed and argued cases in several courts in the areas of criminal law, health care, election law and class action litigation.

In his internal investigations practice, Mr. Hull has completed investigations into potential political corruption, accounting issues and allegations of violations of the FCPA. His experience includes devising investigation strategies, interviewing witnesses and making disclosures to company management or the government.

While in law school, Mr. Hull was a member of Catholic University’s CommLaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy. He also served as an editor of the Symposium issue of the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.
