Christine Williams advises clients on a wide variety of interests, focusing her efforts on complex civil litigation, including construction litigation. She also advises many Alaska Native and 8(a) clients on current legal issues, as well as competing in the government contracts arena. Ms. Williams regularly advises contractors and subcontractors on bid protests, negotiation of contracts, preparation of claims, and litigation. She has prepared claims and cases in front of various state and federal agencies and has pursued relief for clients by litigating in various federal and state forums. Ms. Williams has been involved with government investigations regarding contracting compliance and advises clients regarding compliance with federal regulations and contracting requirements.
Ms. Williams has also represented hospitals navigating through the complicated regulatory framework imposed by the state and federal government in addition to representing hospitals in complex litigation. Due to her professionalism and commitment to the health care field, the State of Alaska requested that Ms. Williams assist the state regarding its health care laws.
In addition to complex civil litigation, Ms. Williams has successfully represented clients in other dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and arbitration.
Ms. Williams regularly presents lectures on current legal issues, hosts legal seminars, and currently authors a newsletter, which discusses topics relevant to her fields of practice. She has also authored several nationally published papers in the legal field.
