David McLean maintains an active practice in the representation of private investment funds and sponsors in connection with portfolio investing activities and fund formations. Mr. McLean is regarded as an authority in the area of mezzanine finance and junior capital, having closed over a hundred of such transactions in his 14 years of practice, including traditional mezzanine, tranche B, preferred equity and venture capital.
Mr. McLean also helps clients navigate complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, PIPES transactions and other private placements of securities, restructurings and workouts, senior credit facilities, and public offerings, while routinely counseling clients regarding corporate governance matters.
