Patton Boggs Middle East Practice
أنشطة باتون بوغز للمحاماة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط
The Patton Boggs office in Doha, Qatar is the center of our Middle East practice. Our attorneys in Doha serve as legal advisors to businesses and governments throughout the region and worldwide-developing international trade and investment, launching major infrastructure projects, resolving international disputes, and negotiating military and security agreements.
In 2003 Patton Boggs was provided the unique opportunity to open the first U.S. law office licensed to practice law in Qatar, when H.H. the Emir of Qatar invited Patton Boggs to open an office in Doha. This opportunity has enabled Patton Boggs to enhance its ability to service clients in the Middle East and North Africa and to build an important network of personal relationships at the highest levels of the region’s political and economic leadership. The Doha office of Patton Boggs is providing a full range of legal services to our clients in Qatar and elsewhere in the region, and this unique opportunity has deepened our firm’s knowledge of Middle Eastern culture, traditions and legal requirements.
Our Doha office works closely with other offices of the firm to provide full-service legal representation in a number of practice areas, including: business law, corporate finance, government contracts, international trade and transactions, litigation and dispute resolution, oil and gas, project finance, real estate, tax and telecommunications, to name just a few. Our clients include public and private companies and government entities with a diverse range of interests in industries such as business services, education, energy, healthcare, hotels and hospitality, and transportation and infrastructure.
