Erin McGrain represents international and domestic clients on a range of legislative, administrative, and policy matters. Ms. McGrain advises clients on the development of comprehensive strategic plans to address specific legislative and regulatory interests and broader policy objectives requiring attention by the federal government. Her work includes identifying and pursuing opportunities for clients seeking federal assistance and helping clients navigate the legislative and regulatory process in the policy areas of tax, energy, transportation, science, technology, and education.
Ms. McGrain advises nonprofit organizations such as public charities, private foundations, trade associations, and social clubs. She is experienced in working with clients to form new nonprofit organizations, applying for and obtaining tax-exempt status for these organizations, and advising nonprofit organizations on compliance with federal and state regulations.
