With the $700 billion bailout package expected to clear the House today, the next question is how will the massive rescue affect Wall Street?
The Directors Round Table and Patton Boggs LLP will host a forum on Tuesday, Oct. 7th to answer that question as well as what to expect in terms of new regulation and government investigations of corporations. Will the package be enough to settle the markets and revive the economy?
Forum panel members will include Randy Snook, senior managing director and executive vice president of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and David Lavine, a principal with the Reznick Group, an accounting firm as well as three partners from Patton Boggs LLP: Micah Green, former president and CEO of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association; DeMaurice Smith, former counsel to the deputy attorney general; Talcott Franklin, co-author of Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities Litigation Handbook.
Attendees at the Forum will include Directors and C-level executives of global and Fortune 500 companies.
