Fred Stovall helps growing companies and investors navigate the many legal issues that accompany business expansion in a competitive marketplace. Mr. Stovall helps clients structure and negotiate capital investments, financings, and acquisitions and dispositions of assets. He assists management with corporate issues faced by growing companies, including investor management, customer contract negotiation, employee matters and intellectual property issues. Mr. Stovall has extensive experience with respect to the reporting requirements of public companies and the heightened standards imposed by recent corporate governance reforms.
Mr. Stovall also assists institutional investors with the formation and management of investment funds as well as the negotiation, structuring and management of individual investments. He also regularly counsels institutional investors on matters involving growth investments, restructurings and buyouts.
Mr. Stovall helps investment banking firms structure negotiated investments, securities offerings and acquisitions and dispositions of assets. Additionally, Mr. Stovall advises investment advisors and securities broker/dealers with respect to requirements of extensive federal and state regulation.
