Giuseppe "Joe" Tomasetti practices international corporate law, encompassing legislative and administrative issues, for investors and companies conducting cross-border business, transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He does so as the lead attorney in a strategic relationship between Patton Boggs LLP and the Milan-based law firm of Tomasetti and Partners , of which he is a principal partner.

Established late in 2003, the strategic relationship between Patton Boggs and Tomasetti and Partners was designed to allow the firms to serve European companies with issues related to the production, distribution, promotion and international transport of foods and food products. The relationship leverages Mr. Tomasetti’s strong understanding of the changing food regulatory landscape and the Washington DC administrative and regulatory environment—particularly relative to companies in Italy and the EU.

From the Milan office, Mr. Tomasetti works closely with European food companies on complex industrial production issues, cross border matters, transportation and distribution challenges, and the legal aspects of branding and advertising. He has practiced in the United States and abroad for more than twenty five years. He joined Mondini-Rusconi in Milan in 1992, after heading the Italian office of Katten, Muchin and Zavis.
