Haven Ward represents plaintiffs and defendants before federal and state trial and appellate courts, as well as in pre-trial government investigations and enforcement actions. She has experience litigating both criminal and civil matters.
Previously, Ms. Ward served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kermit E. Bye of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and to the Honorable Roslyn O. Silver of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. In this role, Ms. Ward worked on a variety of criminal and civil cases involving complex commercial disputes, numerous federal and state statutes, and significant issues of constitutional law.
While in law school, Ms. Ward assisted then-Professor, now acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal on the Guantanamo detainee litigation in the U.S. Supreme Court. She also secured a victory for her client in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit through Georgetown University Law Center’s Appellate Litigation Clinic.
