Joanna Addison has significant experience in the energy and power sectors, having previously worked as a counsel for Qatar Petroleum for three years. Ms. Addison has been involved in some of the world’s largest gas and power projects, and has extensive experience in the marketing of specialist Gas-To-Liquids (GTL) products and commodity products.
Through her experience at Qatar Petroleum, she has developed an important understanding of the legal, commercial, and logistical aspects of world scale projects. Ms. Addison has worked on various development and production sharing agreements, fuel supply agreements, power and water purchase agreements, EPC contracts, and other key project documents.
In addition, Ms. Addison has advised on all aspects of joint venture development initiatives in support of large multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects in the real estate and industrial sectors throughout the Middle East Region. Such work has included advice on joint venture structures, financing implications, business models, and corporate governance. She is currently working on one of the largest leisure development project s in North Africa.
