Jessica Pung’s work focuses on federal funding opportunities though appropriations and authorization legislation, as well as competitive and discretionary grants. Having joined the firm’s public policy practice group in June of 2008, her clients include municipalities, universities and public transportation and transit authorities.
Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Pung worked for former U.S. Senator Mark Dayton (D-Minn.) as a constituent advocate intern, serving as a liaison between Minnesota residents and the federal government. Her casework included issues related to alternative energy, immigration and military and veterans affairs.
Ms. Pung gained campaign experience while interning for U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wis.) at the Feingold Senate Committee. She was involved with both campaign fundraising and event coordination. During that time Ms. Pung also contributed work to Senator Feingold’s Political Action Committee, the Progressive Patriots Fund.
