Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) John R. Sharp advises clients on a wide spectrum of administrative and regulatory law issues, focusing on matters involving defense and national security, government contracts, and international transactions.
Lt. Col. Sharp brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on defense and security-related issues to the table for his clients, having served in the U.S. Army for nearly 22 years in a variety of assignments worldwide before joining the firm. He offers counsel on all facets of doing business with government agencies, from the legal and regulatory structure of public contracts law to marketing goods and services to state governments and federal agencies.
A Russian linguist, Lt. Col. Sharp served for many years as a Soviet-East European (Eurasian) Foreign Area Officer, developing special proficiency concerning the Trans-Caucasian and Central Asian regions. He uses this background to facilitate investments and business transactions in Russia and Central Asia on behalf of clients.
