Justin Strochlic concentrates his practice in the areas of complex civil litigation, including products liability, toxic torts, consumer fraud and international law. Within these subject areas, Mr. Strochlic has defended major corporations in the fields of telecommunications, national defense, agriculture, engineering and construction, from a variety of products liability matters and complex class actions.
Mr. Strochlic has experience advising companies on strategic defenses to liabilities arising from participation in response and recovery efforts following natural or man-made disasters. In the products liability arena, Mr. Strochlic has defended leading telecommunications and electronics providers against claims of software defects and consumer fraud violations.
Mr. Strochlic also has extensive experience implementing defense strategies for companies that have been sued based upon their provision of goods or services to the United States or foreign governments. He has represented a private military contractor and biotechnology company against claims of war crimes and crimes against humanity brought via the Alien Tort Statute.
Mr. Strochlic’s pro bono efforts have assisted numerous immigrant communities and individuals both in New York and in New Jersey.
