Jamie Whatley represents financial institutions, private equity funds, mezzanine funds, agent banks, and other institutional investors in connection with corporate and commercial financial transactions. She regularly counsels clients on matters involving senior and subordinated debt, acquisition financings, asset-based lending, equipment and project financings, secured and unsecured lending, structured financings, health care financings, and other forms of debt and equity financing. Ms. Whatley also advises buyers and sellers in secondary distressed debt trading transactions.
Representative Matters
- Represented the senior lender in a $305 million asset-based financing provided to a borrower in the compression industry.
- Represented the subordinated lender and private equity sponsor in the $432.7 million project financing of an ethanol facility.
- Represented the senior lender in a $55 million credit facility to a provider of a health care network.
- Represented the senior lender in a $17.5 million credit facility to a provider of communication towers for wireless services.
- Represented the senior lender, agent, and subordinated lender in a $255 million acquisition financing of a company in the environmental testing business.
- Represented a private equity fund in its $42.5 million investment in a company that owns and operates a refined liquid petroleum products pipeline in the United States.
