Kimberly Caccavaro counsels clients on corporate finance and general corporate matters. She regularly advises clients regarding mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, equity and debt financings, and other complex business transactions.
Before joining the business group, Ms. Caccavaro counseled individuals and closely-held businesses on all facets of estate and business succession planning. Ms. Caccavaro also advised clients regarding asset protection planning techniques to shelter their assets from creditors’ claims. In addition to planning for U.S. citizens and residents, Ms. Caccavaro counseled foreign nationals with regard to pre-immigration tax planning and the creation of foreign trusts.
Ms. Caccavaro worked as a certified public accountant (CPA) for almost five years before becoming an attorney. Before joining Patton Boggs, she worked as an associate in the tax and corporate department of another prominent law firm, where her practice included corporate transactions, tax controversies, tax-exempt organizations and estate planning.
