Ms. Hu has broad experience in various health care and finance related issues. She routinely represents clients in Medicare coverage and reimbursement litigation in agency appeals and in federal courts. She advises hospitals and other health care organizations in operational, regulatory and transactional matters. She also counsels clients in the acquisition of health care facilities.
Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Hu worked as an associate at one of Denver’s largest law firms. She was a legal intern at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Colorado Attorney General’s Office and the United States District Court for the District of Colorado.
Ms. Hu also served as the Executive Editor in Marketing for the Review of Banking and Financial Law, the country’s leading scholarly banking and financial law journal prepared under the auspices of the Morin Center for Banking and Financial Law at the Boston University School of Law.
Ms. Hu is a native Mandarin speaker and helps facilitate negotiations and relationships with Chinese clients in international business transactions.
