Ms. Newsom assists the firm’s attorneys in complex immigration petitions and applications filed with numerous U.S. government agencies, embassies and consulates abroad. She has more than 12 years of experience in many areas of employment- and family-based immigration and has an understanding of the challenges presented by subtle changes in immigration law.
Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Newsom worked as a paralegal in the Business Immigration practice groups of two major Washington, DC law firms. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
