Michael W. Anderson assists international and domestic clients in a wide range of corporate issues, among them, corporate governance; general contracts; project finance transactions (including construction and infrastructure projects); investment fund transactions (including sponsors and investors); and regulatory compliance, including matters related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Mr. Anderson has experience working with a variety of business entities, from pre-investment stage and Fortune 500 multi-national companies to private equity and other investment funds.

During law school, Mr. Anderson spent 16 months in Doha, Qatar, where he worked for Patton Boggs’ Doha office and taught at the Qatar University School of Law. Prior to law school, he worked as a tax accountant in the banking and financial markets, hedge fund and mutual fund practices of Ernst &Young LLP in New York.
