Neil Potts assists clients on a range of matters, including financial services and products, homeland security and defense, federal appropriations and public policy and lobbying. In addition, he is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono practice.

Mr. Potts has provided strategic guidance for a variety of Fortune 100 companies, Alpha Hedge Fund 100 firms, leading investment banks and numerous nonprofit organizations, to achieve or resolve their most pressing financial, legislative, regulatory and public policy priorities.

Mr. Potts has successfully assisted municipal, health care and defense clients in obtaining critical congressional appropriations for transportation needs, renewable energy systems, health care technology and equipment and defense systems.

Previously, Mr. Potts worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency as an Islamic law research analyst. His extensive military background includes experience as an intelligence officer with the 1st Marine Division, where he deployed with the division to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Mr. Potts also was an intelligence officer for the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, which conducted deployments to Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East.
