Nigel Wilkinson focuses his practice on general commercial litigation. He counsels clients on pre-litigation, litigation, arbitration, mediation, bankruptcy and agency-related matters on various issues including defamation, contract disputes, personal injury, fraud and tort claims throughout the United States. Mr. Wilkinson has successfully argued preliminary and dispositive motions, conducted all facets of a civil jury trial and has engaged in numerous aspects of litigation, including substantial experience in civil discovery matters before state and federal trials, appellate courts and administrative agencies.
Additionally, Mr. Wilkinson counsels clients on a variety of employment-related matters such as harassment, discrimination and employee misconduct claims, and advises clients on various employment-related policies, employee handbooks and compensation issues. Prior to joining Patton Boggs, Mr. Wilkinson worked as an associate at a prominent international law firm where his practice focused on employment litigation and counseling matters, representing employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies.
