Pat McManemin, one of the first board-certified civil trial lawyers in Texas, represents business clients in a wide range of industries throughout North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. With more than 30 years’ experience, his practice has included major jury trials and commercial arbitrations, as well as reorganizations and workouts of troubled and distressed companies in industries such as investment banking, financial services, insurance, real estate (including affordable housing and tax credit projects), banking, structured finance, securities and energy. Mr. McManemin has tried cases to verdict in state and federal courts throughout the country –Texas, Colorado, California, Georgia, Oklahoma and New York, among other states. He also advises senior management and board members on corporate governance and compliance issues, and avoidance or resolution of significant disputes in advance of litigation or mediation.
Mr. McManemin involves attorneys from a wide range of the firm’s practice groups including Business, Corporate Finance and Bankruptcy, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Real Estate, Energy and Construction Projects and Infrastructure. During his career, he has been recognized by his peers as an expert in the convergence of business and litigation and has served as a frequent speaker at bar and industry functions. He is a member of the national board of editors of the Lender Liability Newsletter and Commercial Liability Newsletter, and has also offered his services as an expert witness in complex business disputes.
Mr. McManemin’s distinctive legal practice and experience makes him a logical choice for senior management when counsel is needed to focus on comprehensive solutions to complex business situations.
