Michael Cuda has more than 25 years of experience in business and banking transactions. His practice focuses on domestic and international oil and gas industry financing transactions, including upstream through downstream operations, offshore production, and equipment and oilfield services finance. Mr. Cuda also negotiates a wide range of industry documents, from leases and joint operating agreements to farm-in and out and surface use agreements. He also prepares, reviews and supervises the review of mineral interest title and works in various capacities on financial derivatives transactions.
In addition to energy transactions, Mr. Cuda has recently been involved in various types of syndicated lending transactions involving international currencies and collateral, film, media and telecom financings, commercial business financings, financial derivatives as well as structuring credit facilities that involve public and private debt, multiple debt layers, multi-traunched loans and other related complex transactions. Mr. Cuda also counsels clients in loan work-outs and other debt restructurings, including through bankruptcy proceedings.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Cuda practiced with leading international and regional law firms. Mr. Cuda is also a former banker with extensive loan review and credit structuring and restructuring experience.
