Vincent Frillici advises clients on creating strategies to convey complex business issues to policy makers on the federal, state and local levels. Mr. Frillici’s extensive background in both politics and business allows him to provide clients unique analysis of the legislative and political environment and understand the implications of policy on clients’ domestic and global operations.
Mr. Frillici has been a key member of the firm's financial services public policy group since 2008, and also works closely with the firm's financial services transaction practice group, having provided counsel to clients with pending financial services acquisitions, legislative monitoring for investors and performing public policy and regulatory due diligence for potential acquisitions in the financial services, transportation, infrastructure and defense sectors.
Mr. Frillici also offers clients counsel on negotiating, structuring and maximizing corporate sponsorships of events in the public policy arena. He managed corporate partnerships with Fortune 100 corporations as Director of Operations for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) 50th Anniversary Host Committee and as Deputy Director of Finance Operations at the 1996 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, IL.
His perspective is drawn from his nearly two decades of experience in national and state politics, which includes serving as a member of President Bill Clinton’s 1996 re-election staff, a member of the Finance Staff of the Democratic National Committee, for the gubernatorial campaign of Governor Buddy McKay, and as Finance Director of the New Democrat Network, which was instrumental in the creation of the New Democrat Coalition in the House of Representatives. Before joining Patton Boggs, Mr. Frillici worked for former Senator Christopher J. Dodd, where he served as his National Finance Director from 2001-2008.
