Robert Hawkins has a wide array of experience in general litigation matters. With a focus on white collar crime and governmental investigations, he has effectively counseled individuals and companies of all sizes accused of fraud, securities violations, workplace safety violations, tax crimes and various other types of alleged wrongdoing. Mr. Hawkins has also provided invaluable service to clients on numerous other litigation matters involving labor and employment, financial compliance issues, energy, ad valorem taxation and claims for civil rights violations and personal injury.

As a law clerk to the Honorable Jane J. Boyle in Dallas, Mr. Hawkins gained extraordinary insight into trial procedure and a unique perspective on litigation strategies and resolution. He also has substantial trial experience in Texas state and federal courts and has handled numerous appeals at both the federal and state levels.

Mr. Hawkins is also a valued member of Patton Boggs’ Industrial Crisis Management team, working with colleagues in all of the firm’s offices to counsel clients facing emergency situations and crisis management issues in the areas of health and safety.
