Ruth Ann Jennings serves in the position of Senior Paralegal, assisting attorneys in the area of complex civil litigation involving environmental and antitrust issues. 

Ms. Jennings also provides all aspects of support from discovery through in-court trial assistance on various matters ranging from medical claims to retirement fund disputes.  As Senior Paralegal, Ms. Jennings is responsible for all aspects of litigation support personnel assigned to work on a given matter.

Ms. Jennings’s experience as a senior paralegal spans more than 20 years, and she has been involved in some of the largest cases litigated in the United States.  Previously, she assisted the trial team in both the United States District Court, District of Alaska and the Alaska Superior Court in the matters of Exxon Valdez oil spill litigation.  She was the senior legal assistant to the liaison counsel for certain public utilities involved in the Washington Public Power Supply System municipal bond default—the largest municipal bond default in the United States. 

In addition to assisting on numerous trials in state and federal courts, Ms. Jennings has participated in regulatory hearings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, numerous state insurance commissions, and the Bonneville Power Authority, among others.

Prior to joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Jennings was a Senior Legal Assistant at one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest firms and a Senior Legal Assistant at a prominent Oregon firm.
