Ryan King focuses his practice on regulatory, policy and transactional matters in the areas of communications and technology. He advises wireless, wireline and media companies on matters before federal and state regulatory agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission and state public utility commissions. 

Mr. King has extensive experience in many areas of communications law and policy, including licensing, regulatory compliance, rulemaking, enforcement, monitoring developments in legislation and regulation, universal service, interconnection, retransmission consent, mandatory carriage, and the sale of communications facilities. He also has experience advising companies on privacy and marketing issues, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Customer Proprietary Network Information, Telemarketing Sales Rule, CAN-SPAM Act and related state laws and regulations, as well as investigating and responding to consumer complaints.

During law school, Mr. King was the editor-in-chief of the Duke Law and Technology Review and was on the Alaska Law Review.
