Rebecca Murphy represents commercial and noncommercial educational wireless telecommunications, wireline telecommunications, and tower companies before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) as well as other state and federal agencies.

Ms. Murphy is highly knowledgeable in the areas of universal service, licensing, regulatory compliance, spectrum auctions, enforcement matters, commercial transactions, and monitoring developments in telecommunications legislation and regulation, spectrum policy, and information technology.  She has also worked with telecommunications and tower companies on compliance matters arising under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the National Historic Preservation Act.

Before joining Patton Boggs, Ms. Murphy was an associate in a Washington, D.C. law firm, focusing on the regulatory and transactional representation of rural, wireless telecommunications companies.
