Ryan Zumwalt assists with the research, development and implementation of legislative and regulatory strategy for his clients, which range from pharmaceutical and device manufacturers to national trade organizations. He also helps clients by monitoring daily activity on Capitol Hill and providing real-time updates on information relevant to their interests.
Before joining Patton Boggs, Mr. Zumwalt worked briefly for the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations under Senator Richard G. Lugar (R-IN), where he developed a working understanding of the legislative process and the complexities of conducting business on Capitol Hill. Mr. Zumwalt also has experience in the private sector, having served as an administrative coordinator for the Northern California regional office of a national kidney dialysis service provider.
