Sven Collins focuses his practice on litigation and risk-management guidance in areas of health care, employment and labor, trade secrets and unfair competition and other commercial disputes.
Mr. Collins has expertise litigating and trying cases in court and arbitration and before state and federal agencies. He represents health care providers in reimbursement appeals and other matters. Mr. Collins also represents employers in a variety of employment and labor-related disputes, including employment discrimination, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, trade secrets, unfair labor practices, employee benefits, and employment contracts. Mr. Collins counsels clients on issues concerning non-competes and trade secrets, wage and hour, hiring, discipline and discharge, reductions-in-force, reorganizations, and mass layoffs, employee benefits and employment policies.
Mr. Collins’ litigation and trial experience also includes representing broker-dealers before FINRA/NASD, and clients in real estate, construction, breach of contract and other commercial disputes.
Mr. Collins frequently speaks at legal, trade association and firm-sponsored seminars on employment matters, and regularly presents in-house training programs for clients on these issues.
