Shannon Conway concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, with a focus on matters involving insurance coverage, mortgage banking and government investigations.
In the insurance coverage context, Ms. Conway has provided advice and counsel to both policyholders and insurance companies facing complex coverage issues in connection with numerous policy forms, including commercial general liability (CGL), directors and officers (D&O), errors and omissions (E&O), professional liability and marine insurance policies. Ms. Conway has successfully prosecuted and defended suits in trial and appellate courts around the country involving the insured v. insured exclusion, the pollution exclusion, the scope and trigger of the duty to defend, lost policy issues and broker malpractice.
In the mortgage banking context, Ms. Conway has successfully prosecuted and defended claims involving mortgage repurchase obligations, securitized loan pools and is currently serving as independent counsel to a servicer in connection with the OCC’s consent order requiring a foreclosure practices look-back review. Ms. Conway also provides advice and counsel to clients on compliance matters involving origination, servicing and foreclosure practices.
Ms. Conway is a member of the Patton Boggs (Dallas Office) Recruiting Committee.
