Therese Finan advises clients on various intellectual property issues, focusing on patent and trademarks. She assists on all phases of the patent process, including U.S. and foreign patent application prosecution, opinions, and litigation. Finan also counsels clients on trademark matters from development and clearing marks to securing brand ownership by filing and prosecuting registration applications and maintaining registrations.
Finan has extensive experience in biomedical research in the fields of biochemistry, cell biology, and immunology. In addition, she has worked in public policy having served as a policy analyst and representative for the Governor of Pennsylvania and director of research and programs for a prominent health care institute in Washington, DC.
