Focusing on Alaska Native- and Native American-owned businesses, Mr. Featherly regularly handles matters of corporate law and governance, securities law, protection of intellectual property, government contracting, employment practices, finance and real estate. Mr. Featherly also helps minority-owned businesses navigate the regulations governing admission to the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development and HUBZone programs, particularly those related to subcontracting and teaming opportunities. With substantial experience handling municipal, state and federal legal matters, Mr. Featherly advises public and private entities on how best to avoid risks in public finance transactions and prevent complex legal entanglements.
