The Seventh Annual Women in Power® Forum is a special educational and networking event for women leaders in the electricity industry. The Forum is designed to bring together decision makers in government, trade associations and electric companies to share common policy goals and explore ideas about how women can work together to improve the industry.

The Forum will address important energy and environmental policy issues from the perspective of the U.S. Congress, FERC, DOE, states and industry, including the latest developments regarding: (1) electricity storage; (2) offshore wind; (3) the integration of variable resources to the grid; (4) feed-in tariffs and distributed generation; (5) load aggregation for demand response; (6) transmission planning, siting and cost allocation; (7) FERC/NERC reliability standards and penalty policies; and (8) data privacy, cyber security and other smart grid issues.
